Inside Yume: Hong Kong’s Bar Space Reborn

Formerly known as Quality Goods Club and Drop, the once popular food and drink spot has had a transformation and now become what is known as Yume.

This new cocktail lounge and Japanese-inspired night club venue gets its name from the Japanese word, meaning ‘dream’. 

Led by Peru-born bartender Raiza Carrera, Yume aims to shift partygoers from late-night revelries to earlier starts with the enjoyment of inventive cocktails and great company.

Menu: Japanese-inspired sharing plates and bites 

Must-try drinks: F.YU (gin, soju, shiso, cantaloupe), Above the Clouds (sake, pistachio aperitivo, matcha liquor, soy milk, shaved ice), It Was All a Dream (dark rum, rye whiskey, pineapple, coconut)

Vibe: Vibrant, laid-back yet energetic, Tokyo nightclub energy

Decor: Colorful mood lighting with shades of pink, orange, blue and purple, with comfy booths or plush stool seating available
