He arrived alongside his club team Al-Nassr on Thursday, in preparation for the Saudi Super Cup next week. Excited crowds of football fans greeted the five-time Ballon d’Or winner at the Regent hotel in Tsim Tsa Tsui the next morning as news spread of his arrival.
The Super Cup event will feature four teams from the Saudi Pro League: Al Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Qadsiah with the preceding two teams to face each other in the semifinals on August 19th.
